High School- Captained Garfield HS team that earned a state championship appearance, where he posted a 20-4 record with a 1.60 ERA.  Batted .420 his senior year and named Team MVP.  Made First Team All-League and All-County Honorable Mention his senior year. 

Professional-  Drafted 15th round by the Colorado Rockies in the 2016 MLB draft as a pitcher.  Played for the Rockies organization for three seasons.  Played the 2019 season with the Rockland Boulders.
